Teen Wolf's Tyler Posey Is Engaged To Phem

The Teen Wolf actor proposed to his girlfriend Phem on Valentine's Day, confirming the news months later during an interview in May 2023.

The stars went official for the first time on the red carpet during the premiere of Teen Wolf: The Movie in January 2023.

“We got engaged in Cambria, California. Phem's favorite place," Tyler told People magazine. "We spend every Valentine's Day there, so it was perfect to do it there,"

Phem added: “It was just us on the beach. I should have known when he propped her phone on a rock to film something was up... but I had no idea."

The couple's wedding is scheduled for October 2023 and revealed that they are almost done with the planning process. “We will keep it close to home and we will be getting married in a very special place that means a lot to us,” Tyler added. “We want a fairly intimate wedding. Or at least the ceremony, but the reception will be the dance party that everyone can join.”

Tyler and Phem began dating around 2020 after music producer John Feldmann asked Phem to help write music with the actor. They later made it public in February 2021 via Instagram.

While the two have kept their relationship largely out of the public eye, with the exception of a few social media posts, Tyler opened up about how his girlfriend helped him discover his sexuality.

“I've been with everyone under the sun, and right now I'm in the best relationship I've ever had with a woman, and she's queer too,” the actor told NME in July 2021. “She helped me realize that I fit under the queer umbrella and that I'm sexually fluid, I guess. No, I don't 'guess', I don't want anyone to take this [interview] and say, 'Well, he was kind of bland about it.

Tyler first spoke publicly about his sexuality during a March 2021 appearance on the "Just for Variety" podcast after coming out during a fan question-and-answer session.

“I was just being honest about it, because no one had asked me before,” Tyler recalled in the episode. “It was just a split second decision. I thought it was really interesting that it just broke down this wall that I didn't feel like I put up, but it made it easier for me to be honest about all of that stuff."
