In June HBO Max will open in Latin America

In June 2021, it will be available in 39 territories in Latin America and the Caribbean,  the HBO Max platform, which brings together the content of WarnerMedia, HBO, DC and Warner Bros.

That is, subscribers will be able to watch iconic productions from Cartoon Network, Looney Tunes, HBO, Warner Bros, New Line, DC, CNN, TNT, TBS, truTV and Adult Swim. In addition, original titles will also be available, under the brand Max Originals.

"We are very excited about the launch of HBO Max in Latin America and the Caribbean, which is the first step in bringing WarnerMedia’s direct consumer service to consumers outside the United States, and around the world," said Johannes Larcher, responsible for HBO Max International.

When HBO Max becomes available, both HBO GO direct subscribers and HBO GO subscribers via participating partners will have access to HBO Max, as the current HBO streaming service in Latin America and the Caribbean will be discontinued.

HBO Max in the region will offer the same experience available in the United States and will be easily available via various subscription options, and can be downloaded to smartphones, tablets and entertainment platforms.

"Combining HBO with the best catalog of WarnerMedia series and films, with the contents of local productions of the main creators of Latin America, HBO Max will offer fans in the region a rich and unforgettable entertainment experience", added Johannes Larcher. WarnerMedia further reports that over the next few months they will report in detail everything that platform has to offer in content.
